How “Your Day Your Way” Began

My journey as a wedding officiant began a few years ago with a phone call from my niece asking me to officiate her wedding. I applied for my officiant credentials and we began writing what became their personalized ceremony.  It was a relaxing, fun and touching experience as we collaborated on what they wanted to have said to represent their relationship to family and friends.  After the wedding I was surprised by how enjoyable this was and decided to pursue it professionally.

What I Do

I want for you what I wanted for my niece and her significant other — a ceremony that goes beyond the standard “I do.” As a professional speaker for over two decades and the author of eight books I have the expertise to provide a ceremony that is an authentic expression of who the two of you are.

I have officiated weddings that range from formal venue weddings to informal “micro-weddings” with just the three of us and a witness at an informal location.  I also officiate vow renewals.  I am comfortable with spiritual or non-spiritual ceremonies, and am honored to celebrate any two people who feel called to commit to one another.

Giving Back

In addition to having the joy of working with you and being in the presence of your Love on your special day, I donate the proceeds from this business to organizations that serve the special needs population and have supported my family throughout our journey with my adopted son who has a cognitive disability.
